Privacy policy

Last updated October 16, 2026.

This policy explains what Wild Jag Audio collects through this website and our plugins. Questions about it can go to support@wildjagaudio.com.

Plugin usage data

Our plugins send a small, anonymous usage event when they launch and when you load a preset. Each event contains the plugin and its version, your macOS version, the host application (your DAW), the preset name, and a random install ID. It does not contain audio, project contents, your name, your email address or your license key.

To opt out, set telemetryOptedOut=1 in ~/Library/Application Support/WildJag/WildJag.properties. The plugins then stop sending these events.

Licenses and activation

Paid plugins check your license with our licensing server when you activate and about once a day after that. The check sends your license key, the plugin, and a one-way hash of your computer's hardware identifier, which lets us count how many computers a license is used on without learning anything else about your machine.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We receive your email address and the details of your order, and we store them along with your license key so we can deliver the license, resend it if you lose it, and handle refunds and support.

Email and the contact form

If you join a launch waitlist or contact us, we store your email address and your message so we can reply, and, for the waitlist, tell you when a plugin launches. We send transactional email (such as your license key) through Cloudflare. We don't sell or rent your address.

Website analytics

We measure page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across other sites. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Who processes your data

We use Cloudflare for hosting, our database and email delivery, and Stripe for payments. Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@wildjagaudio.com. We may keep order records where we need them for accounting or legal reasons.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
